A new French-Drain was laid, sending excess waters around either side of the residence, and effectively protecting the home from deleterious hydraulic effects. This solution has proved both effective and economical.
In response to the severe slope, several curved planters were built in front of the boulders (awkwardly placed as hill-consolidation): these reduce the abrupt-wall effect by gently terracing up the land.
