Due to an imposing slope, composed mainly of imported boulders, and leeched earth, this relatively large rear garden had very poor access, and was difficult to enjoy. An existing concrete slab, cracked and unsightly, had been sinking into the ground for a number of years. More than just an eyesore, this slab had become a safety hazard. Poor irrigation was identified as the source of the problem.
